My expedition into the world of html has commenced.
After trawling through various online learning sites such as Learnable, Learnist and LearnThat , I stumbled across another L – starting learning site called Lynda.com. And with Lynda, my baptism began……

However, I knew that. What I didn’t know was that html begins and ends with <tags>, which are commands within <pointed brackets> that determine the style, syntax and position of all the content on a web page.
Today’s lesson was on tags. The image below shows two screens.

Our task today was to use a couple of simple tags to add italics and emphasis to the paragraph in question. As you’ll see here, I nailed it.
